Tree Removal
A dead or storm-damaged tree is a problem that gets more expensive the longer it stands. We take trees down safely and cleanly, fully insured, and we leave the yard in a state you would not know we had been in.
It also will not come down on a convenient day. It comes down in the storm, onto the thing you would least like it to land on — and at that point you are dealing with an emergency and whoever can get there fastest, rather than a scheduled job and a crew you chose.
Bergen County properties carry a lot of mature hardwood, much of it planted or self-seeded long before the houses around it were extended, fenced and wired. That is what makes removals here technical: the tree is rarely standing in open space. It is between a garage and a neighbor's fence, or under a service line, and it has to come down in pieces, in an order that was decided before anyone started the saw.
What the job includes
- Removal of dead, diseased, storm-damaged or badly placed trees
- Sectional take-downs where there is no room to fell
- Careful work around structures, fences, wires and plantings
- Debris and limbs hauled away
- Full site clean-up before we leave

Why it holds up here
Bergen County has its own rules — freeze-thaw winters, heavy canopy and a lot of slope once you get north of Route 208. This is what we do about them.
Fully insured, every job
Tree work next to a house is the one place where an uninsured contractor can cost you far more than the job was ever worth. We carry insurance and you are welcome to ask for it.
Rigged down in sections
Where there is no room to fell, the tree comes down in controlled pieces. The sequence is worked out on the ground before anyone leaves it.
Storm damage taken seriously
A tree that has already been hit is unpredictable — the load is not where it looks like it is. Damaged trees get assessed before anything is cut, not during.
Yard left clean
Wood, brush and debris loaded and gone. You should not be able to tell we were there except for the tree that is no longer looming over the roof.
Start to finish
Assess the tree
We look at lean, condition, what is underneath it and how we get equipment in. Then we price it in writing.
Take it down safely
Sectioned and lowered where space is tight, felled where it is safe to do so.
Clear the site
Limbs and debris removed, ground raked, surrounds left clean.
One county, three different jobs
Bergen County changes character every few miles. A property in the Ramapo foothills and one on a Ridgewood side street want the same crew and a different plan.
Oakland, Franklin Lakes, Mahwah, Ramsey
Wooded foothill lots backing onto tree line, where the mature hardwood is the reason people bought the house and also the reason they are calling. Big removals with real drop zones to plan.
Ridgewood, Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus, Allendale
Tight village lots with old street trees, close neighbors and overhead lines. These are the removals that are all rigging and sequence rather than raw cutting.
Wyckoff, Midland Park, North Haledon, Waldwick
Suburban lots where the tree in question is usually too close to the house, the drive or the fence — and where the access route matters as much as the tree does.
Real jobs, real properties
Every project photo below is a Super Green job on a real property — no borrowed portfolios.
